The 2023 ILFA Ecumenical Service of Prayer and Reflection will take place on Saturday 14th October at St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street at 3pm. All are welcome.
During the service, we will remember those who have been lost to lung fibrosis with the lighting of candles. If you would like your family member included on the Remembrance List, please email info@ilfa.ie with the person’s name.

The next meeting of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association’s Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Research Advisory Group will take place on Wednesday 26th July at 5pm.

European Respiratory Society Congress Educational Bursaries 2023
The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA) is delighted to announce three educational bursaries for respiratory nurses, allied healthcare professionals, researchers, PhD students, and post-doctoral students in Ireland to attend the 2023 European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress in Milan in Italy from 9–13th September 2023.
The ERS Congress is an annual event that brings together the world’s respiratory experts to showcase all the latest advances in respiratory medicine and science.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Training Bursaries
ILFA is delighted to offer another round of educational bursaries to respiratory healthcare professionals working with lung fibrosis patients to study Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) online.
The next course will commence in May 2023.

ILFA’s 2000 Steps Extra Challenge will take place on Easter Monday 10th April.
We’re asking everyone to go for a walk or run from your home and commit to take 2000 steps extra (one mile more) to help raise awareness of lung fibrosis and funds for ILFA.

The Dublin Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group will meet again face-to-face after a long break due to the pandemic. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday 4th April from 11am-12pn at the Community Centre, Whitefriar Street Church, Aungier Street, Dublin2.
