Patient Support Groups

ILFA has a number of support groups engaged in regular face-to-face meetings around the country.

ILFA asks that support group members do not attend the face-to-face meetings if feeling unwell in order to protect the health of others.

ILFA Support Groups (On-Line)

  • ILFA Virtual Transplant Support Group: meets online on the third Monday of the month @ 7pm. For further information, contact Gerry @ 086 8387653; Carol @ 086 8715267; or Noreen @ 087 2627976.
  • ILFA Virtual Carer Support Group: meets online on the third Tuesday of the month @ 7pm. For further information, contact Gemma.
  • ILFA Support Group Bi-Monthly: meets on the second Tuesday, every other month @ 1.30pm. Date and time can vary. For further information, contact Gemma.

  • Clare Support Group: meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the West County Hotel, Ennis at 12 noon. For further information, contact Michael on 087 637 4068.

  • Donegal West Support Group: meets on the first Tuesday every month, at Ionad Padraigh, Dore, Gweedore, at 2pm. For further information, contact Phyl on 089 7035689.
  • Dublin Support Group: meets at the Community Centre at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Whitefriar Street, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 on the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm. For further information, contact Matt on 086 244 8682 .
